Making music together while supporting and encouraging one another.
If you don’t have an instrument, we will try to help you find one! Just ask.
No matter your skill level, you are welcome to be part of MSCE.
All MSCE members are asked to sign a covenant outlining basic expected behaviors to foster an experience where everyone is safe to do their best and be affirmed.
Open to all 16 and older.
Those 15 and younger must be accompanied by a designated, responsible adult.

The Main Street Community Ensemble (MSCE) is a gathering of music enthusiasts who have combined their love for making music, their commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, their celebration of mutual support and encouragement, and their deep respect for the role of the arts in both transmitting tradition and encouraging innovation to form a musical collaborative. MSCE provides community members with an opportunity to rehearse and perform instrumental music and provides the public with high-quality, accessible musical entertainment, education, community support, and collaboration.

As a general rule, rehearsals are hosted 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm on Monday evenings, EXCEPT on the second Monday, in which case it is held the next evening (Tuesday) due to standing meeting conflict with the hosting church.

MSCE occasionally hosts Video Music Jams (VGM Jams) - an open call for musicians of all skill levels to enjoy fun music in a spontaneous and improvisational atmosphere. Watch our Facebook page for upcoming events!

Main Street Community Ensemble is more than a band, it's a community! Join the MSCE community to talk about music and music creation, instruments, helpful hints and best practices, regional events, and about other ways to connect with people who share your love for music.
MSCE has a virtual Club House space in an online platform called Thriving Commons. Joining Thriving Commons is FREE and so is then joining the MSCE space.
You will find members who share your interests in music - but functionally you will find a one-stop-shop that includes a webpage, directory of members, group chat and DM capabilities, a community feed, an events calendar, and a music library! Check it out by clicking on the button below:
